Luxurious Bedroom Retreat

I’m so excited to share this beautiful transformation with you! My clients really wanted a luxurious bedroom retreat in their lovely home.

Their bedroom was functional, however it wasn’t the retreat they wanted.

A big transformation was achieved even though we kept the existing bed and nightstands. The wall colour is Benjamin Moore’s Wythe Blue, which is a beautiful blue green. To give the room a more traditional feel, we added picture rail moulding to the drywall and painted it out in the trim colour.

As you can see, this window treatment certainly needed a facelift.

We added faux silk fully functional drapery on top of a light filtering textured blind for a beautiful layered look.

Creating more storage space for shoes and utilizing wasted space was a priority for the closet.

The closet is now better organized for everyday use. Also, the added drawers meant we could remove the dresser from the bedroom.

Removing the dresser left us room to add beautiful tufted bench and accent mirror. The perfect spot to put on shoes!

Aren’t the custom coverlet and shams inviting?

My clients are thrilled with their calming bedroom retreat!

Here is what they said:

Working with a design professional, and especially Natalie took away all of the uncertainty and second guessing about colour choices, window treatments and furniture placement. It was apparent that she really listened to what we wanted and integrated the “new” room so it felt like the rest of the house.
